life 's lessons -lesson 1

so life forces people to learn some lessons irrespective of their intention for the same.
i have learnt a whole lotta lessons... some by force, some by sheer carelessness and some other thanks to my utterly candid behaviour!
the lessons i mention hereunder are not the only ones i have learnt... they are the most important ones!

i learnt my first lesson thanks to my characteristic trait of not being able to shut up! i am basically the kinda person who can take nonsense well and give back better!
once i know i am right , theres no shutting me up!
so what happened was that i went head on with a paternal aunt of mine... she was the typical " i luv my parents but i also luv my freedom " kinda person... the kinds who talk, lecture, profess... and just that...
some one who can criticise others but can take no criticism herself...
but my mistake here was the fact that i reacted to her comments and more importantly my sister's upset mood.
the end result of it, i turn out to be the villain [the one who does not respect elders, has no control over her tongue etc etc....] and a closed chapter as far as my aunt is concerned....
i personally did not even in the wildest of my imaginations think it would end in such a way... not that i regret anything i said or miss not talking to her and the likes.[ she anyways wasn't someone i really like. she happens to be my aunt. PERIOD!]
but the person that i am i do not like breaking relations... if only i knew my aunt had such ludicrously low levels of maturity, i would have ignored her comments like i would of someone younger to me!!!
appearances they say are deceptive... methinks age too is deceptive :)
so the moral of the story ?
" do not get carried away with people's emotions"
" do not champion the cause of another"
" do not react when you are not personally targeted"
