legalising gay sex- a step in the right direction or the worst mistake ever!

well its all over- every newspaper and news channel surely has something to say about the Delhi high court's decision to repeal Section 377 of the IPC.
Section 377 of the IPC which talks about unnatural offences defines an unnatural offence as follows-
"Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life,or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine"
The Delhi High Court in its recent ruling held that criminalizing gay sex is violative of articles 21,14 and 15 of the constitution [which talks about Right to Personal Liberty, Right to Equality and Prohibition of Discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex and place of birth].
the decision has upheld gay sex while continuing to make intercourse with animals and non vaginal sex an offence.
the result of such a decision- the gay rights activists are happy, the religious and cultural activists unhappy.
my take?
well personally i think we just blindly ape the western way of living. i personally think all these supposed gay activists are mere attention seekers.
i mean come to think of it- some comments, post the decision, shows one gay activist being elated- happy that he can now marry and have kids contrary to the public notion that gays are merely promiscuous people.
i have only one question- how can two men or two women produce kids?for that matter how can two men or two women even have any kind of intercourse?!?!
its plain weird and gross!
while the western world benefits from the good things of Indian culture, we Indians ape the wrong things of Western culture!!!

I hope your kind of ignorant lot are few and far between. They found a gene which is linked to homosexuality. People just don't become gay. And no one is seeking attention. Do you think people who have been persecuted for so many years are doing this for fun? Next time you want to talk about something, it's good to read up before an opinion is formed.

Also, homosexuality has been part of Indian culture. Just read up on your history as well. No one is blindly aping the west. It's become fashionable to say so. More ignorance from the writer.
